To make things easier for you, some of these editors offer direct buttons to add tags like Bold, Italic, H1, H2, Align, etc. In some EPUB editing software, you can also find a Text editor or Book view that lets you directly edit the text, heading, etc.

You can view any of the books in your calibre library by selecting the book and pressing the View button. This will open up the book in the E-book viewer.

You can use this location information to unambiguously refer to parts of the books when discussing it with friends or referring to it in other works. There is a URL you can copy to the clipboard and paste into other programs or documents. Clicking on this URL will open the book in the calibre E-book viewer at the current location.

Depends on the actual needs, you can pick an appropriate output format. It can view, convert, edit and catalogue e-books in all of the major e-book formats. Once you start reading aloud, there is a floating bar with pause and other controls, like speed up speech and slow down speech, close read aloud, and configure read out, etc.

You can also change the voice being used by clicking the gear icon in the floating bar that is displayed while Read aloud is active.
