Motorola razr v3 file browser
Tattoo artist Ami James from TLC's Miami Ink created two versions of the V3t -- a pearl-gray model with a dragon tattoo and a magenta handset with a cherry blossom design. Purple phones were in fashion in the mid-aughts. Motorola followed through with Razrs in a couple of royally colored shades.
Announced in , the 3G-capable V3x had a slightly thicker design with a new keypad, a better display, two cameras including one with a 2-megapixel resolution , a camera flash and a faster processor.
The V3xx , which followed the next year, looked just like the original V3, but had stereo Bluetooth, an Opera web browser and improved call quality. Debuting in , the Razr Maxx Ve tweaked the design still further and added external music controls. It was 3G, as well, and shared the V3x's features.
The Razr2 arrived in , just as the smartphone era was beginning. It had an ever sleeker design, GPS, a refined external display, and more memory capacity. After this model, the original Razr line more or less ended. As the iPhone began to take over following its , it was cleat that Moto rode Razr wave longer than it should have. So instead of a thick design with a plastic casing, Motorola went with a thin and metallic build. But what made the Razr V3 stand out was the fact that the phone had style.
The phone was manufactured out of aluminum and featured a nickel-plated keyboard. Together, the Razr V3 make for an enjoyable experience for all that owned it. The hinge on the Motorola Razr V3 was beautifully designed and was another aspect of the device that made it superior to other handsets. Instead of some flimsy-feeling engineering, the Razr V3 sprang into action as soon as you started to flip the screen up or down.
Finally, unlike smartphones which typically only launch in two to three colorways , Motorola continuously released the Razr V3 in almost every color possible. This variety meant that anyone could buy this phone and have it match their personality and style.
Modern smartphones are pretty much supercomputers when compared to cell phones from While most handsets did have a very limited pre-installed web browser, the primary use of cell phones at the time was to make phone calls and send text messages.
As such, the information customers cared about pertained more to how long the battery would last on a single charge and, depending on the phone, how good the camera was. As you can see from the specs sheet, the Motorola Razr V3 was rated for around six and a half hours of talk time and 10 days of standby time.
This was excellent battery life for a feature phone in , so the company used the fact as a selling point for the phone. Of course, this was also the time period where cameras on cell phones were just becoming popular.
